LEAGUE UPDATE
Over 2,000 players have registered and we will have over 67 High School and Youth Teams teams.
We are forming teams and finalizing schedules
Schedules for the first two weeks will be posted no later than this weekend
FOR GENERAL PLANNING PURPOSES
VARSITY 16 teams - All teams will play Mon 6/27
JV 14 teams - All teams will play either Mon 6/27 or Wed 6/29
U-15 10 teams- All teams will play either Tue 6/28 or Thur 6/30
U-13 12 teams -10 Teams will play either Tue 6/28 or Thur 6/30
U-11 11 teams - 6 teams will play Thur 6/30
U-9 4 teams - U-9 WILL NOT begin until JULY 5
VA Summer League We accept Individual and team registrations
No practices -- Week night games -- Seven game schedule
Players have the opportunity to sharpen their game skills in a competitive, organized, and safe league.** Due to the game only format, players MUST have at least one season of organized lacrosse experience to play in any league. NO EXCEPTIONS **
ADULT supervision on all fields is the key to our ability to provide a quality game experience. Players will be placed on the same team with others from their High School or Youth group.
** Leagues Start: week of June 28 End: first week in August **
Player AGE/GRADE division placement criteria
High School players: placed based on their RISING Fall 2011 school grade.
Youth Players: placed based on their AGE as of Dec 31, 2010. This allows current teams to keep playing together for one last season before moving up to the next age group in the Fall 2011 season.
* Players may choose to play UP a division but not DOWN a division
HIGH SCHOOL DIVISIONS:
Placement based RISING Fall 2011 school grade
Varsity Division (11th and 12 graders*)
* Exceptions will be made for younger players who played Varsity during the spring season or by HS coach recommendation
2011 graduates who are 18 years old or older as of July 1, 2011 may register for ADULT Open Division
JV Division (9th and 10th graders)
High School Division Games will be played on Monday - Friday nights
YOUTH DIVISIONS: AGE as of Dec 31, 2010
* Players may play UP a division but not DOWN a division
U-15 (No older than 14 as of 12/31/10)
U-13 (No older than 12 as of 12/31/10)
U-11 (No older than 10 as of 12/31/10)
U-9 (No older than 8 as of 12/31/10)

We would like to THANK all the players, parents, and volunteer coaches who helped make the summer season the largest and most competitive ever.
ONLY REGISTERED PLAYERS MAY PARTICIPATE - NO EXCEPTIONS
IMPORTANT ATTENDANCE CLARIFICATION:
We are aware that families may have conflicts during the season with camps, vacations, and other activities. If you miss a game(s) due to conflicts REGISTERED PLAYERS ONLY are welcome to show up early or stick around after your scheduled game and play in multiple games on the nights you do attend. You can fill in for teams missing players. ESPECIALLY GOALIES!!
You are welcome to come out ANY night your division is playing (even if your team doesn't have a game) and fill in IF teams need players. ALL “fill in” players MUST check-in at the TripleEDGE tent and verify players are needed for a specific game
If teams have enough of their own substitutes we will not allow players from other teams to take from their playing time. We DO NOT offer pro-rated refunds for missed games.

Overview
- Games ONLY- No practices
- 7 game schedule (Teams will play ONE game per night and based on final registrations and fields may play 2 games per week at some point during the season.
- Trained ADULT supervision on all fields
- Full field 10 on 10 lacrosse
- Players will be placed on the same team with others from their youth group or high school
- 23 players per team to maximize playing time
- Certified referees will officiate all games
- Players receive a game jersey to keep
- Post game "tip card" with positive messages on competition, sportsmanship and training drills
Players MUST provide their own equipment: stick, helmet, shoulder and arm pads, gloves. We DO NOT rent equipment for league play.
IMPORTANT LEAGUE STRUCTURE DETAILS
Division structure, schedules including starting and ending dates, nights of the week, and game locations are subject to change based on final registrations. Some Divisions may be merged to provide a positive league experience.
High School Battle of the Beltway
The top team from the Varsity and JV divisions will play against the top teams from our Maryland League to crown a Beltway Champion.

Late Registration Information
If you are interested in playing you must download an application and show up at least forty-five minutes prior to game time for the team for which you wish to play. The application MUST be completed and SIGNED by a parent/guardian.
Payment: Appropriate fees are listed on the application. Payment must be made at the field - CASH or CHECK ONLY.
